WHO IS VISION CHANGE WIN?

Vision Change Win (VCW) is a Black-led team of Queer and Trans social justice consultants dedicated to supporting organizations in fully manifesting their missions, visions, and values. We deliver practical and effective solutions to social justice organizations working in policy advocacy, community organizing, coalition-building, art, culture, and direct services.

WE HELP LEFT MOVEMENT ORGANIZATIONS

MAKE DEEP IMPACT

The Get In Formation Training Series (G.I.F.T.S.) provides foundational safety & security knowledge for your organization across verbal de-escalation, action safety, security teams, organizational safety, digital security, and more.

Virtual support to social justice movements, groups, and leaders dealing with urgent community safety incidents. We respond within 48 hours.

Transformative Conflict seeks to address the root organizational & societal factors (structures, cultures, dynamics) that create fertile ground for interpersonal harm while also holding non-punitive space for conflict to be repaired between individuals and groups.

Community
Safety &
Security

Community safety and security are the bones of our work toward collective liberation. Feeling safe is not an abstract idea or a belief. It is an active practice that requires reflection, assessment, and action.

VCW offers robust tools, coalition-building practices, and trainings to sustain and bolster your organization, campaigns, and actions.

Your community has the solutions; you know what you need best. But we can offer collaboration and up-to-date insight on reinforcing and protecting yourself in the work, particularly physical and digital security.

Learning

Vision Change Win facilitates a wide range of workshops and courses on topics, actions, and systems change campaigns such as: racial justice, economic justice, and anti-violence; improving access for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Indigenous, immigrant, low-income, Disabled communities; verbal violence de-escalation; transformative justice, mediation; leadership and program development; board recruitment and retention best practices; and more.

We are dedicated to expanding the capacity of our communities, and our expertly trained facilitators are prepared to roll up their sleeves and get into the work beside you.

services

Abolitionist and Transformative Justice practices are woven into everything we do. We see them as inseparable from their roots in feminist, Queer, and Black & Indigenous liberation movements, and this shapes the way we move in community with you. These complex and vibrant traditions ground all of our offerings: workshops, training, leadership coaching, Rapid Response Support, tools, and more.

For organizations seeking a deeper level of engagement, we can offer our collaboration and expertise by supporting your definition and alignment of values, enhancing organizational frameworks of knowledge about organizing and movement work, and conducting long-term strategic planning and development.

OUR
PURPOSE

We offer strategic support to left movement groups and movement leaders, increasing their capacity to make a lasting impact in the fight for the end of oppression and toward collective liberation.

OUR
VISION

We envision a world where our communities have sovereignty and self-determination, where everyone thrives, has agency, and access to resources, and where we are free from oppressive and violent systems of exploitation.

WHAT WE BELIEVE IN

Community
Safety

We define Community Safety as action and event security, office and organizational safety, verbal de-escalation, physical de-escalation, personal safety, transformative justice processes, community safety neighborhood strategies, bystander intervention, and cop watch. We believe that BIPOC have created safety outside of police and prison systems for years, and we draw on a generational legacy that informs our intersectional, trauma-informed, anti-oppression approach.

Action

Supporting the development of building a base for coordinated & organized actions and campaigns that strengthen collective movements for systems change. Skill sharing on best practices for aligning action with strategy to amplify your impact.

Disability

Justice

Disabled communities’ thought leadership is foundational to our vision and work toward collective liberation. We recognize that justice in all its forms is intersectional – and to have racial justice, gender justice, queer justice, economic or environmental justice, we must also have disability justice.
