HISTORY

ALIGNING OUR VALUES WITH ACTION FROM DAY ONE

Vision Change Win was founded by Ejeris Dixon in 2014. Ejeris is an organizer and political strategiest with more than two decades experience working in racial justice, LGBTQ, anti-violence, and economic justice movements. In 2023, Ejeris moved on from being a full-time Executive Director at VCW to found Ejerie Labs, where they focus on fighting facism and building transformative and abolitionist futures.

Since 2014,

VCW has been a trusted collaborator for Left movement activists, strategists, leaders, and impacted communities for over a decade. With origins as a movement laboratory supporting multiple campaigns, actions, and organizations, we are positioned to see the trends within Left movements to better create innovative and tailored solutions.

Vision Change
Win was designed

as a space where organizers could receive support from experienced, values-aligned organizers to create more effective strategies and practices in the fight for collective justice and liberation. We believe that the people who have dedicated their lives to building freedom and power best understand how to make effective organizations and movements. We recognize, honor, and follow the leadership of frontline organizations and organizers.

All Movements are Interconnected

Because Vision Change Win operates across issues, we are connected to many movement ecosystems. Our work focuses on ensuring these groups can fully manifest their missions and visions to create a more just world, with the help of our programs. We are nimble enough to pivot and provide increased support during specific movement ecosystems’ challenges and opportunities.

Foster deeper connections within Left movement organizations through strengthening operations, systems, and practices.

We are committed to learning and expanding our skill set in real time as situations on the frontline change. Approaching the work with curiosity alongside mutual and community accountability ensures we act on learnings with authenticity.

Agility and adaptability are key elements of rooting into the deeper aspects of this work. We are dedicated to practicing critical self-reflection, staying dialed in to new best practices, and monitoring current events and political moves that impact our communities’ safety.

We believe that to be effective agents of social change, especially in times of upheaval, we must pause, reflect, hold ourselves accountable, recalibrate, and take action. The result? Group cohesion, solidarity across issues, and the strength to hold the line–Long-term movement sustainability.
