VCW Executive Director

Vision Change Win is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to step into the role of Executive Director. A great candidate will have substantial experience in community organizing and be rooted in left movement traditions and ecosystems, especially Black and Queer Liberation. We are looking for someone who will bring a high level of rigor as Executive Director and a commitment to collective care and resilience. Our ideal leader will have a track record of success with other organizations, appetite for self and organizational growth, and courageous yet compassionate communication skills. 

The Executive Director is responsible for leading and co-creating long-term strategic plans for the organization, and overseeing the program, operations, and fundraising to achieve those goals. They will directly supervise the Deputy Director of Programs, Deputy Director of Operations, as well as an Executive Assistant, and lead a team of 7-10 staff members. A strong candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience in abolitionist community safety and security practices.

VCW Security Director

Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually
Location: Remote (with 15% travel expected)

Vision Change Win is seeking a full-time Security Director to lead and strengthen our internal and external safety work. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone with deep experience in community safety, digital security, and transformative justice. You’ll develop and implement safety protocols for our staff, infrastructure, and public-facing events, while also coordinating rapid response support for movement partners. The right candidate brings strong political alignment, a trauma-informed lens, and a track record of navigating risk with clarity and care. You’ll work closely with our Community Safety team and across departments to ensure VCW and the organizations we support are equipped to respond to evolving threats with rigor, resilience, and integrity.

VCW Community Safety Program Coordinator

Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 annually
Location: Remote (with 15% travel expected)

As Vision Change Win’s full-time Community Safety Program Coordinator, reporting to the Community Safety Director, you are the operational project manager of VCW’s Community Safety Program. This role ensures that VCW’s core safety and security programming is executed effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with our values and strategy. The Coordinator leads program timelines, tracks deliverables, communicates across internal team and external partners, coordinates curriculum development and facilitation connected to VCW’s safety and security consulting service offerings and programs, client needs, and collaborations. In this role you will build relationships with VCW clients and organizational partners, implement curriculum related to VCW’s safety and security programming, and manage projects and programming. Strong facilitation skill and ability is also required!
